Contary to popular belief, search exists outside of adtech, check out some of these search engines and avoid the blog spam.

  Kagikagi.com Kagi is a paid search product. It is also a fast, private search engine that provides results that have your best interests in mind. I'm paying for it and using it as my default search.

  Marginalia Searchsearch.marginalia.nu An independent search engine that favours text-heavy websites. Focuses on non-commercial content, and attempts to show you sites you perhaps weren't aware of in favor of the sort of sites you probably already knew existed.

  searchmystitesearchmysite.net The searchmysite.net search engine is a niche search, focussing on the "indieweb" or "small web" or "digital gardens", i.e. non-commercial content, primarily personal and independent websites.

  Wibywiby.me Wiby is a search engine for older style pages, lightweight and based on a subject of interest. Building a web more reminiscent of the early internet.

  Gibirugibiru.com Uncensored private search engine. They exist to provide access to information outside of big tech's censorship bubble and do so privately.

  Infotigerinfotiger.com Independent, privacy respecting search engine. Building their own index, sitting at around 300 million english websites indexed.

  Brave Searchsearch.brave.com Brave as a company aside, they claim that they do not filter, downrank or censor search results. They are building their own index of the Web so they do not rely on Google or Bing results.

  Yepyep.com New search engine built from scratch. Claims to offer an unbiased, private search experience that rewards and compensates the makers behind the content...

  Stractstract.com Independent and open search. You can apply different optics to narrow down the types of page you're looking for.

  Mwmblmwmbl.org Mwmbl is a free search engine with a focus on freedom, user experience, and community. Results are provided by their own index and a touch of curation.
