Using my iPad as just an iPad has helped me reset my thinking on wants vs. needs when it comes to specs and accessories as well as to rediscover the joys and simplicity of the platform again.
This post discusses rediscovering the joy of using an iPad, as an iPad. I'm experiencing a similar discovery after a couple of years of trying to use my iPad as a laptop replacement. It can get you some of the way there, but not the whole way. Some of the workarounds are wild and take away the experience of using the device as it should be.
